Hi, is anybody out there suffering more migraines than usual at the moment??
I think it's due to the weather but i usually get one every now and then but past few weeks, its been every day or every other day which is not pleasant. A few people i know of have had more than usual also.
At this rate i'm wishing autumn would come quick!!

I suffer from migraines and although I have not had any full blown attacks I have been experiencing sharp headaches above my eyes for the past few weeks, similar to that I have before migraines. It has been quite hot and oppressive in North Norfolk for many weeks now and I feel sure this is to blame. The weather is cooler today and so far I am headache free.
I am not a migraine sufferer, but Mrs sqad is and she says that the weather has no effect on her migraines.
I am a migraine sufferer, but find the weather does not affect it.
What I eat or drink does though, so maybe it is something that you are having more of in the hot weather?
I'm like Lofty and I only get migraines or headaches if I'm incredibly tired or if the weather is oppressive. I've got a headache today but it is entirely coffee induced but the last few weeks I've had more headaches than normal and a few that I thought were going to (but thankfully didn't) turn in to migraines.
I also suffer migraines an always get 1 when there's a full moon an have been told that when it's humid it can bring 1 on... Weird !!!!
Mine tends to be brought on by tiredness or overdoing it though when I was having loads a while back I managed to narrow it down to artificial sweetners (I'd changed to them from sugar as i thought they were better for me).

Once I stopped the sweetners the migraines calmed down.

Some medication can cause them too, I was in the pill Dianette and had to come off it as it made my migraines worse and more frequent.

I'm also on sulfasalazine which gives me really horrible headaches if I don't step it up gradually enough.

Are you drinking plenty of water and making sure you're properly hydrated?
Another thought, I was getting quite a few migraines in a new office and a colleague pointed out I was right in the sun with it reflecting off my computer.

Putting a blind in helped so bright light could be an issue.
A while ago I used to get very bad head aches/ migraines. They continued day after day lasting a good few hours at a time, especially during weather like we've been having. My GP checked my blood pressure and found it was high, now I'm on tablets to reduce the pressure the headaches / migraines have gone.
Ask your GP - It could be blood pressure with you too.
