Funny noise in my throat

This is kind of hard to explain. I can't burp (without sticking my finger back my throat!) and after i eat i get this feeling in my throat like a big ball of air is stuck in it. This air kind of bubbles up my throat (but it never seems to be released) and makes a really loud groaning noise as it does so! It is very embarassing especially in work and it can last for hours. has anyone any idea what it could be?!

Snap in everything that you have mentioned. Also when I go to bed as soon as I lie on my left side the gurgling starts but never when I lay on the right side. It does eventually stop. My Daughter has the same problem. Oh to be able to burp naturally. I have no idea why we have this problem though.

Have you been eating in any french restaurants recentlly, You may just find that you have a ""frog in your throat!"

I have EXACTLY the same thing!!! Never burped naturally and if I have a few beers or fizzy drinks I get soooo uncomfortable with the air feeling in my throat I have to go and do the same as you (fingers down throat) ...My, what a lovely description!! :))

Anyway, I have no idea why it is but you arent alone!!

I had a similar thing to this and doctor told me to stop eating dairy products for a while.
I did and it went.
