mcfluff - it was suggested to me by an old lover as something that gave a lovely tingly sensation and was meant to be rather fun.

Tingly sensation?!!! Like hell?! It burns like buggery. I shot off the damn bed and straight into the bathroom and spent ages cooling down my poor burning bits. As for tingly ysensation - yes you get that, but that's when feeling returns to said bits and after you have rammed the toothpaste tube, box and all, somewhere where the sun doesn't shine.
