I had a freckle that was very slightly raised (does this mean it was a mole, I never know the difference) but now it has developed into a skin tag that appears to be getting slightly bigger. Why has this happened, is this dangerous and how do you get rid of it?

Thanks

Get it cut off at the doctors.

I have loads of moles and my doctor will remove them as and when I want. They've all been checked and are ok but he's happy to remove them. Better to be safe than sorry.
best thing is to go and see your gp and get them all checked over. i'm a very moley/freckley/skintaggy person and have them all looked at maybe every couple of years. there are one or two the doctor has measured to see if there are any changes. i've nipped off a couple of obvious skin tags myself but wouldn't do any that have any colour in them. if i were you, i'd let the doctor have a look.
Freckles, moles on the skin are all non cancerous conditions.

If they star to itch, bleed , get bigger, then they need medical expertise.

Skin tags are non cancerous and can be left well alone, or excised.
