I have tried numerous mascaras trying to achieve that 'false lash' effect that they all promise!! I have had no success!! Are the expensive ones like Chanel worth splashing out on? I want my lashes to be ultra long with volume. I hate mascaras that flake, L'oreal seems to flake on me. And I don't want a mascara that weighs down the lashes. Someone please help!x

i've tried the bourjois ones and they do make them longer but not really with volume.

I really like boots N0.7 volumising ones.  They arn't false lash ones but they are excellent for volume and length... and only about 8

Which No7 one do you like the best willow?
I really like Maybelline mascara, the pink and green tube in Blackest Black. Maybelline also do one called XXL - Volume and Length.

i've tried most of them but i think the best one is the double ended loreal one, but then you said you dont like loreal.

max factor stretch is good as well

I always use Boots No. 7 Lash Extensions Mascara. It is approx 8.50, but lasts for ages. The only trouble is, it does just what it says it does & when I wear my spec's for close work, my lashes touch my glass lenses!

I have just read that Benefit Bad Gal mascara is supposed to be fantastic...anyone know if this claim is true?
Lancome Definicles is really good, bit priceyat about 16 but its really lightweight on your lashesand makes em look dead long!!!
I like Bourjois Coup de Theatre although I have just bought Maybelline XXL and it seems to be just as good.  They're both the double-ended type.

I like Bourjois usually, but that Coup de Theatre really weighed down my lashes :-(
Yeah, the coup de theatre is really thick.I have tried nearly all of them, coz i have reallyshort lashes, the cheaper ones dont work for me!
one day in a moment of madness i splashed out 15 on a Lancome Flextencils mascara. it really made a difference, and was much better than the cheaper mascara i had before. But this did not last long. it seems to run out a lot more quickly and go cloggy. i ususlly go for maybelline - i have found theirs to be the best
I've tried the Benefit Bad Gal mascara and would say give it a miss, I was very disappointed with it.
