i have a scab on my knee and its sore when i bend it, and because of the bending i started to come off the other day, so i couldnt help my slef picking at it, which made it sorer initially, but not so bad when i bent it but the scab has come back and i have thr urge to keep picking at it, what the best way to stop my slef? a plaster? but won't it come off from the movement of the knee?

lol snags, put some tights on

self, you know what i meant.
If you put a plaster on then the scab will stay soft - and many people think that moist healing is a good method. Do bear in mind that picking a scab can lead to permanent scarring ....but I know how tempting it is!
Question Author
tights will just slowly grate it off, probably making it sorer.
Are you aspiring to be 'karmagirl22' when you are older, mollykins.............?

i just remembered something my auntie told me, one of my many cousins, used to pick his scabs and eat them because he said that they contained a lot of calcium.

If anytihng they'd contain iron wouldn't they?
