Thursday and it's chilly out! But it's going to be a sunny day. I just hope it's a bit warmer than yesterday.
Maybe I'm just getting impatient after the winter we've had.

The boat doesn't actually belong to me. It belongs to Cotswold Canals Trust. It a 27' narrowboat fitted out as a trip boat, 12 seats for passengers and a crew of 2. I retired as carter Manager at the end of last season, although I still have dealings with the boat.

Morning Waterboatman, morning Johnny. Looks like another corking day. Taking mum-in-law off to Hosp this am for her cataract op. This is third time lucky, 1st was cancelled and the last one her blood pressure was sky high. So we're hoping Lady Luck will be on our side. Have a great day, whatever you do. Take Care ♥

Good morning wbm, johnny & kia - as you say, a chilly morning - there is definitely frost on the shed roof this morning! Looks like a lovely day ahead again. Thursday already!

Morning boxtops. the sun is clambering over the hilltop as I type. No cloud anywhere, so it should be a good day. We've got a big hedgehog going about his occasions in the back garden. We don't get many slugs and snails!

Ah lovely, wbm - would that we didn't get snails. Not many slugs but shedloads of snails, it's coming up to the time of year where I stalk the garden with a jamjar. One of the downsides of living on chalk!

wbm - keep at it. I'm no techy but there are loads of posts in CB and Tech that offer guidance - particularly ChuckFickens' posts. There are references to ticking boxes that aren't there etc - it does all come good in the end. I waited nearly half an hour to change my avatar last night, persistence wins through!
