i used to see a married guy, his wife has our somewhat hot emails and is threatening to post them to my family and work colleagues. can i stop her from doing this by going to the police. we met a few weeks ago in the street and he said hello to me and his wife went mental saying to keep away from him and talking about injunctions. i have emailed in the past to just say hi which he has ignored. im scared people will see what we have said to each other.

It's not blackmail.
Emails can be doctored and altered. If she does send any out, just ignore them or state that she's just trying to cause trouble for you.

My friend got involved with a guy who had a girlfriend and when the girlfriend found out about it she sent letters to all my friend`s neighbours alleging all sorts of things. Nothing my friend could do about it. Moral of the story - don`t sleep with other peoples` partners

yes i am female, never realised profile said male, will change! sorry for confusion. yes unfortunately life does have its consequences and they do come back to haunt you. i am trying to get on with my life and didnt expect any more grief. i cant surely say its a virus, there are times and dates. im dreading the fall out, not sleeping well. wondering if i should go to the police as does seem a big threat and affecting me. i know two to tango but i really dont deserve this now, especially as all over, just because he said hello to me. ive done nothing wrong since it finished. im no saint and dont profess to be, i just want a quiet life now.
