sleep on the sofa
Sleep in a cot . . .
. . . it works for babies.
sleep on the floor, no further to fall then.
unless the floor breaks, assuming ciaran doesn't sleep on an upper floor or there is a basement . . .

About five pints less, I reckon....
for all the funny answers, this could be some sort of sleep disorder, you'd have to ask a doctor. The short answer might be a futon.

LOL
hav you gone from a double to a single bed or changed which way around he bed is? When I used to visit my mum and sleep in a single I fell out a couple of times simply because there was less roll room than I am used to.
Get a bed guard they aren`t very expensive and could save you a broken hip etc
Get large sheets and tuck them well under the mattress
