Quite facinating, but it's a long time with your own company. Think you'd have to make sure you had your head in the right place and either saw it as a break or a time for contemplation or something like that. Some reason to it i guess.
What are they going to do to you? i'm intrigued now.
43 Days, however, is a looooonnngggg stretch. You will not be able to see your friends of family for a month and a half, and more crucially no alcohol or meeting friends in the pub for that period.
I reckon you'd be slightly or very stir-crazy by the end of it. Especially, if like some of my trials, the other trialists were morons.
What' are they offering as financial compensation?
Thanks for all your answers. It's a test for TB, tuberculosis (think I've spelt it wrong).
And I don't think there are any restrictions. I think it could be a bit degrading, like I heard that when they give you the medication you have to open your mouth and lift your tongue up to prove you're actually swallowing it.
And yeah I think I will be a bit crazy by the end of it, but there's a 4 day break in-between so I can set my eyes on that for the first half, then set my eyes on going home for the second half.
What should I take with me? Obviously the essentials like ipod and a few magazines. What else do you suggest I take that will make it less likely of me going round the twist? Ohh I need some advice!
And by the way, they're paying 3000. That worries me a little bit. Because, I don't know if the 3000 is for the inconvenience...or they're paying that much because of the risks involved. What if my head falls off or something haha!
Morg, you should do it too.
