HI

I am from South America, living in London 2 years, 3 months ago I was arrested and I when to the police station for problems with my ex boyfriend, I got a simple caution for common assault against him.

The things is I being waiting for my American residence since 6 years ago, to join with my family that live in USA, and now i got this caution that is making me really worried and got me sad :( , the american attorney said to my family he is not sure what would happen but... I cant believe it, they must know it, and my family believe him and don't want to see another advisor, and I cant pay one here, :( ... I am a simple student and I need some help, If would have any problem getting my residence card for the caution I got.

The time have come to send my all documents to the American embassy and have my interview in about 3 months, November or October

I dont know what to do, either go to my country wait till October or December for my interview and finally go to America from there without any problem, so then have a new life with my family

OR in case they deny it to me, better to have my interview here and renew my UK visa in September for another year more pay a master study work here etc etc. .... I want to do what is best for me and don't waist time neither money.

Please any help ? I would really appreciated it (my problem involves moral turpitude ?)

(a) with intent to kill ; or
(b) with intent to commit rape ; or
(c) with intent to commit robbery ; or
(d) with intent to commit serious bodily harm; ; or
(e) with a...

If your American attorney says otherwise, direct him to Page 6 of Volume 9 of the Foreign Affairs Manual issued by the U.S. Department of State :
