I keep getting sick. I don't have anything to bring up so it's hurting.

Any ideas on what's best to settle my stomach?

Try some boiled coca cola i know it helps for light food poisoning, *doc told me*, it might work for what is upsetting your tummy too
as a thought ummmm you will be need rehydrating electrolytes - this has been going on for a while now if I remember previous post and you will have lost lots of salts by now.
yep, dioralyte sachets in a big glass of water, that is what I would have

Do they sell them in corner shops?
Flat coca cola i.e. getting the fizz out of it is also good as seusse suggests. If you are really worried why not check NHS Direct?
Question Author
I'm not worried...just feel like crap.

Don't think so as I've hardly eaten for the last week...
wouldn't have thought so - as a stopgap - in a litre of clean water put half a level teaspoon of salt and eight level teaspoons of sugar. sip slowly at very regular intervals - sip, don't drink. you may also add it to mashed ripe banana which will give you potassium or mix with fruit juice or coconut juice if you feel ready to drink. check whether or not you are dehydrated by pinching your skin, it should return to normal and not stay pinched up. BTW where is squad tonight?

Arrowroot biccies are quite good for nausea, if you can't find any of them then rich tea may work.
Oh Ummmm, that sounds just awful and I feel so sorry you are feeling so bad....nothing worse than being sick all the time....how about a bit of Pepto Bismal ? If you can get it down...I find this is good stuff, failing that a travel sickness pill - sounds bizarre but if will help cancel the vomiting reflex in your brain and help you relax and sleep a bit - worked for me when i had a bout of food poisoning ? Whatever you decide I really hope you feel much better very fast ! !
Ummm I know your docs is some distance away but you really need to go and get yourself sorted. I recently knew of a case where the sickness went on and on and it turned out to be kidney problems :-( not to scare you but please don't mess around with your health.
Definitely keep up the fluids and try and replace some salt if possible. Things you can suck on might help like ginger biscuits and ready salted crisps which you can suck into mush and hopefully get some benefit without eating as such and risking it coming back up again.

Travel sickness tablets might stop some of the nausea and vomiting but it depends on what is making you ill, if it's a bug or something then you may just need to get whatever it is out of your system.

I was periodically throwing up a lot before they diagnosed my malabsorbtion and the doctor suggested I up my meniere's meds, as it's a balance disorder I have anti-sickness pills which are really good but I only took them for that when I knew I didn't have anything bad to get out of my system.
I also take a sneaky travel sickness pill whenever i have a really bad hangover - I know this is not the case for you Ummmm...but it works a dream !
I agree with woofgang. Unexplained and sudden sickness can be serious however you know your own body. Wish you well ummmm.
cola has helped me through such times, but not flat: the fizz actually seemed to help when I couldn't even keep water down.
oh, just seen that it's been going on a week - yes, this sounds like one for a doctor, honestly.
If you're regularly taking anti inflammatories on an empty stomach, you are asking to be sick, I'm afraid. Same thing happened to me and I couldn't even keep a sip of water down.
