Naproxen 375mg

I was prescribed this on Monday (twice daily with food). Not entirely sure it's working but it's only been a short time. Just wondered if anyone had experienced side effects from it?
Cheers.

Grumpy yes but rarely sad! I noticed that there's a possible side effect of depression and since I'm already more prone to that sort of thing anyway, I just wondered if it was the meds doing it... In which case I can stop trying to work what's bloody wrong with me and get on organising clinics for depressed teenagers instead! ;0)
I see..........
Sorry, I can't help on that score.
I've been quite low for months because of my back-pain and would find it difficult to apportion how much of that ought to be attributed to my meds.
Still, next month (fingers crossed) ought to see me rather more pain-free.........if a little shorter ! :o)

Constant pain is rather emotionally draining isn't it, mine is my legs, hips and feet (walking is fun) but I don't imagine it's anywhere as bad as a slipped disc, feel for ya... Did you get any reply to your question in health? (Other than my entirely helpful contribution obviously!)

I'm not entirely sure but I believe the 'modern thinking' is that I ought to get myself as mobile as possible as soon as possible.
Mrs JtH is entirely practical and will minister to all my needs, of that I am certain. I will, however, have to look elsewhere for any 'there, there, there-ing'............:o)
As I said in my original post, I have no qualms about the op. I have had 2 MRI scans 4 years apart and there has been no change/improvement in that time, so I don't believe I can look forwards to spontaneous healing. I'm just fed up with the situation the way it is and any chance of improvement is a chance I have to take !

I started this a couple of weeks ago to help me ween off my current painkillers.
Bloated stomach, Sickness, Headaches and general feeling odd most days are my side effects. Although have begun to wear of a bit now. With regards to pain relief it is not a patch on what I am weening from now and if it were not for the fact that I have become quite dependant on my current painkillers I would be ditching the Naproxen.
