However I've looked up omeprazole in my printed Pharmacopoeia as well as referring to reliable online sources. I've also checked out information about Kalms. I can see nothing which suggests any form of conflict. I take these tablets

which have ingredients very similar to Kalms (but are cheaper!) and I'd have no worries about taking omeprazole at the same time.

thanks guys. i have been doing some research into my symptoms and as my doctor suggested, they do match helicobacter but carrying out further research, it seems that they also match chronic hyperventilation syndrome ( i have suffered with panic attacks in the past). I am a bit wary of approaching my doctor about this though, as i don't waht to be seen as self diagnosing!
climber-chick, i do this all the time with my gp :o)
fortunately, she knows me of old, sits there patiently listening...and then puts me right in the nicest possible way! i really wouldn't hesitate to visit your gp and get him/her to explain things to you so you understand properly, after all it's your body and your health.
