I know a few of you were having or had their gallbladder removed from when I asked about it when going through the motions with cholecystitis and biliary colic etc. Anyways, I had mine taken out last year, I'm pretty sure my problems with eating and getting the runs almost soon after eating some food is connected to the gallbladder removal, as the timing coincided.
Anyways, within 15 -30 minutes of eating certain things, i find I am absolutely having to sprint to the loo. Almost always a loose bowels open. I don't eat out at all anymore. Someone suggested IBS to me but I dont really have any of thosxe sypmtoms apart from the urgency. Advice on preventing this would be greatfully received as Im dying to eat a roast potato this christmas day lol

Oh! dear........this is not an uncommon situation following Gall Bladder removal.

Google .......Post Cholecystectomy Syndrome....for a better explanation than I can give you.

Try Cholestyramine a week before Christmas..................no promises though!
