Does drinking lots of alcohol frequently give men breasts? I'm not talking about just getting 'fat on beer'. I'm talking specifically about breasts.

No - the condition is referred to as gynaecomastia and is a result of hormonal imbalances. But beer will increase bodyfat.

Does alcohol not contribute to these hormonal imbalances....something to do with oestrogen? thanks for answer

Yes Marge_B. If persistent excessive drinking has impaired the function of the liver, it cannot maintan the balance between testosterone and oestrogen as you mentioned.

In some cases men can start to develop breasts which are not a just a result of excessive body fat.
