Cheers but not quite what I had in mind I already have a good understanding of it as far as websights doctors etc are concerned guess I was kinda hoping some one might have it or lived closely with some one thats got it. I know I produce higher levels of seratonin and dopermine in my brain and that it developed at early fetal age due to a virus. I know that my paniel gland (third eye) is active because of the high levels of seratonin which cause the paniel gland to work. Every person and animal have this gland but they lye dormant (apart from in worms). But I guess this sounds 'crazy' right?
Thanks for all your lovely comments. I would have got the correct spelling if I was on my computer, its difficult to spell check on my phone. I do have an ongoing support worker but am not getting any closer with understanding through them. They just say your ill let me stick this needle in your leg to cut you off from your true emotions and btw one of the side affect among thousands of harific others is sudden unexplained death
Like Mamma says we are a complete cross section of people and many of us have had personal knowledge of many types of illness. Once I had an interesting interlude but due to the prejudices against any kind of mental health I never tell anyone anything about it. It is a funny world when anyone can say I they are ill in their body and receive sympathy but not in the mind/brain.
Hello Sacha, Sorry to hear that you have what we now have to call "bipolar disease" rather than schizophrenia. (It's the pineal gland by the way). It depends on what medication you are on but there is always a danger that when you take them you start to feel better and so start to stop them. Don't ever do that without talking to your doctor about it first. He or she should be able to put you in touch with local support groups.
Hang in there kiddo!!! Good luck!

Hiya Sacha. I was once married to a lovely man ( and we are friends even tho' we have been divorced for a few years now) who has a schizo-affective disorder, which is quite similar to schizophrenia. He described his feelings about his depot injection (he is on Depixol) just as you do-it blunts his feelings and he says he loses touch with his emotions. He didn't much like having his meds each month and eventually the docs agreed he could take oral meds. He then thought he didn't need them and gradually became unwell again. He seems to cope well on his depot meds though. I can only tell you what his experience of 'illness' was like from my perspective Sacha but unmedicated, he used to get agitated and would have problems sleeping and thinking logically. However he said he felt 'alive' when not on meds and his sense of humour came out big time!! but it was so hard for him to cope with the mood swings (and heartbreaking to see) and unfortunately, he would have to go into hospital to be stabilised. What I can tell you is that he is an amazing, intelligent person who just happens to have a psychological problem. Everyone's experiences of mental health issues differ (I suffer with depression and anxiety for instance) and I really admire you for coping for three years without medication-brilliant. I am sorry I cant be more helpful huns but I wish you the very best of luck for the future! x
Schizophrenia and Bioplar Disorder (once known as manic depressive) are completely different things.
Schizophrenia is to do with hearing voice and hallucinations. NOT to do with being 'different' people, which it is often percieved.
Bipolar Disorder is to do with experiencing manic highs and depressive lows.
Just to clear that up...
Unfortunately I do not have any personal experience of Schizophrenia apart from 'text-book' due to being a Psychology Degree student.
But I can advise that everyone is completely different when it comes to mental illness, so even if people do have personal experiences with this disorder, then it may not relate to your own.
