It made no difference to my weight either way Rich.

I suppose you might loose a few ounces but the time in bed and leading a more sedentary lifestyle while you recover would probably make you put on even more!

It might have something to do with Newcastle Brown and salted peanuts but I've put on about 5 stone since I had my appendix out.  Mind you, that wasn't yesterday so ....what with modern medicine....who can tell????
