Ear Ache - Sqad?
62 Answers
I had my ears syringed about 12 weeks ago. Ever since then I regularly get a dull ache in my left ear. I may have once perferated the ear drum in this ear but that would have been about 20 odd years ago (and I don't remember it which is why I only say 'may'). It's not excrutiating pain which is why I haven't been to the docs. Any ideas?
p.s. sorry for all the spelling mistakes.

<<<I am a registared general Nurse = RGN, with a degree in Nursing.<<<
So you have a nursing degree, but not a medical qualification.
I guessed that as you contradicted Prudie about oxytetracycline not being an antibiotic.........however, I thought even a nurse would know that it was.......!!!

I believe Sqad is a retired GP.
I appreciate any advice I get on here from whoever it may be. As I said, I hadn't been to the doctors as it hasn't been unbearable pain, more of a dull ache and I'm one who would prefer to seek some other answers before taking up the time of my GP. I will be going to see the nurse next week for a top-up of my contraception so if it is still bad then, I will mention it to her
