Is waxing your legs good and effective? How often to do it? Or is a razor just as good? I have blond hair on my legs and it's so annoying because you can't actually see what your shaving but it still feels like there is hairs there, so just wondered wether to try waxing instead or not? Also.... is it sore?!?!

epilate! buy an epliator, and you'll get a result that last for weeks.
If you can' see it, why shave it off ?
Epilating is painful and I gave up . . .

Khandro, the feel of it?
So is waxing...
the more you epilate, the easier it is. I have virtually no hair growing on my legs, and very fine underarm hair now. it takes about 2 mins to do, although I know it was hell the first few times I tried it.
You do your underarms?? Ouch.!

Waxing is quite painful especially just above the ankle. I used to do it myself at one stage but I gave up as it was too painful. I've also had my armpits and bikini line done and the most painful was the bikini line. The armpits weren't too bad but the bikini line - lets just say I was clawing the ceiling!
Molly, The feel of it personally, or as felt by someone else? I have hairy legs and don't mind the feel of them and I've never had complaints either! Though when I think back to when I was a racing cyclist we used to shave our legs which made it easier for massage with embrocation.
Why on earth do you ladies put yourselves through these painful experiences ? Human beings are meant to be covered in hair for reasons that nature discovered for us. Perhaps I am alone in this but I like 'au naturelle' (did I spell that right ?) Why do you gals want to remove hair but go for hair styling ? If you want why not remove the lot. Ron.
you're a rarity, Ron.. there is a lot of pressure to conform, and it's not very girlie to be hairy!

ummmm.. underarms, 15 seconds for each! the first time I tried it, there was blood! but what grows now is fine, and I epilate about every 3-4 weeks.
whats an epliator?
pusskin, an epilator is like an alligator but as big as an elliphant.
^^ ... which in some cases, is almost a requirement.
I think it's more like an elevator, but it travels in an elliptical path.
I agree with the epilator, it seriously reduces the regrowth and most of them have a little light on them to highlight the hairs to make sure you don't miss them. I am very fair, thought a light on a epilator sounded ridiculous, but totally appreciate it now!
lol whiskeryron! what is an epilator, and how does it work. is it a electric thingy?
Professionally waxed about every 6 weeks..........doesn't hurt at all.
I use leg wax strips & since using them the regrowth has got less & less - thankfully.
Bah, all that fancy malarky, good old Bics, doesnt hurt and fuzz free.
