Foot wound
5 Answers
Okay, I am definitely going to get a diabetes blood test this week, as it's really worrying me. The other day I had a MASSIVE bruise appear on my knee which I didn't remember doing and it took weeks to disappear. A few days ago I accidentally scratched the top of my foot in my sleep (with my other foot) and took the skin off it. This is normal for me, but it has been so so painful- red and yellow- and doesn't appear to be healing despite Sudocrem. Walking is painful. Should I keep applying Sudocrem, and should I use a plaster/wear socks or let it breathe?

I don't think the thing you mentioned is what I have; the soles of my feet are really painful and numb/tingly and the injury on my foot happened when I accidentally scratched it in my sleep, rather than a sore bit that just appears. Weird that it takes SO long to heal though. The Doc said feet are "difficult".
