if you agreed to meet someone in their lunch hour that you hadnt seen for six months and they had extended their lunch for 1 1/2 hrs, would you expect to be eating lunch together if you knew you were going to a pub for example?

he is a good friend who i can talk to about anything, he just has this awful trait! yes its all kosher, his wife knows, they have 3 kids, i dont know if he didnt think the other day or think, i will make and take sandwiches so i dont have to buy my lunch. we meet up every six months or so when im in the area. when he has come to visit in the past, he always makes sure everything is finished that is put out to eat. he did it when we went to visit his inlaws near to us, asking if he could have the last of everything left, grrrr! he even finished the kids dinner on their plates, i just hate that so much, thats how to pile on the pounds. when we used to go out he would have half a lager when he was paying, when it was my turn he would ask for a whiskey and ginger, grrrr! you are right, he will never change, im guessing its his dad thats the same. i know my ex used to have pocket money when they first got married so hes probably got it all stashed in his counting house and will be a millionaire by the time we are old. maybe i will hang on to him after all and then when he pops it first, i will be rubbing my hands in glee, mwahahaha! here endeth the tale!
