There are many different factors involved as we change in who we are and what we're looking for the potential to find many 'Soulmates' is possible as we evolve through life. Another facet here is maybe the person that had found one good person in their life and then goes on to find many bad or those that don't measure up to this person. Another facet is some people are fixated o this idea of soulmates and spend their life searching but yet never finds what they are looking for even though this 'soulmate' could be right under their nose. We also mix a simpler time in our life with the person we were with at this wonderful time in our life and may sometimes call this person our soulmate. I'm sure many of us can agree that we have all found our soulmate at one point and then for some reason it's not worked out and went on to find another and another and so on. As i said we are a very adaptable race and can be compatible with opposites or those the same as us and we should really just concentrate on what and whom makes us happy whether they're a 'soulmate' or not as even someone that really annoyed you at the beginning can eventually become your soulmate. In essence "Do you think you only ever have one , Love of you're life.....?"
Yes and no.
Yes and no.
as I have said divorce because you think you have found another "soulmate" can be devastating to children - my husband and I have gone through many stages in our marriage (my fourth) and because of my three failures I have stuck at it thank God as we are now closer than ever - try to ride the storms and stick to someone you once loved it will come back in most cases
Murrymints but this will all be forgotten if the next person you meet is then deemed a much better person then the one that is past and current. Also many people build up a romantic picture a fantasy if you will of themselves and this long gone soulmate and the reality is if you were to have got with this person now you could possibly be sorely disappointed at the reality.
I think that at different stages of your life one person may well be the love of your life - but at another stage he/she may not be - so no, I don't think you only have one love of your life - a better definition is one love of your life at that time. Of course some people find that their partner satisfies all their needs at all stages of their life.
I thought my first ever boyfriend was the love of my life and i adored the ground he walked on. I missed him for years and never truly got over him until i met my husband. I would now say my hubby is the love of my life, but if we split up, would i meet someone else and fall madly in love with him? who can say?
