I met a really nice young man on Thursday night. He's a chef on a private boat. He's lovely. The boat leaves on Monday :(

You can still text each other..... if he likes you too, exchange mobile phone numbers :-)
Question Author
We have exchanged numbers.

my text to his reads:

OK well i dont have any major plans today. I get paid next week so i'm a bit skint and tomorrow my friends are playing an acustic session in a nice little Bodega that I want to save my money for. Your more than welcome, it will be fun. I doubt you want to spend your last Saturday night in the city in the house with me haha, but I'll be home. Tomorrow will be real good fun, I think you will enjoy it. X

Do you think that is ok? He's not replied but in a previous message he said he'd be in touch when he knows what the rest of his "team" are doing. I would like it if he wanted to spend time with me before he leaves.
I'd miss out the whole sentence starting "I doubt" and ending "I'll be home" - don't be negative, give him the choice!
And change "Your more than welcome" to "You're more than welcome"...
Where's yer romance, MR.
She surely doesn't want to give a bad impression, though...
In that case.............What about dont acustic and i?

I think maybe two x's
... and "really" good fun...
I don't think grammar comes very high on most 'lovers' agendas.
I didn't want to go overboard, and hoped that the hint about your / you're would prompt her to check it over properly...
pun intended, MR?
"He's not replied yet" suggests the message is already sent.
MR you old softie, are you trying to help the course of true romance ?
Yes -we have all missed the boat (no pun intended) - that text has already gone :-)
He's not replied, so she's obviously already sent it and can't change any spelling mistakes.
Sounds a bit wet to me, Boxy. Maybe he's given her the old heave-ho...?

it's worth a punt :-)
It all sounds a bit rigged to me...
It wouldn't bother me if I received a text with a few spelling mistakes. If I liked someone, I wouldn't give it a second thought.
However, I think the text in general is a bit crap. I think you've written far too much and sound a bit desperado. Just my opinion, I may be wrong.

When did you text him?
