Did I Act Stupidly In Front Of Him?

So you go to church and after every service the Pastor of the church asks people to come down to the front to be prayed for things, like pain etc. And you're to scared to go down so you ask a friend to come with you. Your friend takes your hand and goes with you, then when she sees you'll be prayed for she leaves you and goes back to her church.

A few weeks later you go back to that church and the Pastor says, "if you want to be prayed for come to the front and if you're feeling fearful bring a friend with you, don't worry just bring them with you, because it's a good sign of faith"

Is that a sign you've made an impact on him or should I be embarrassed because I must have looked like a fool?

I think he probably thought what you did was a good idea as others may be in the same position, so now he's suggesting it to others

Not at all - he saw that people need reassurance and a friend to lean on.

Thats why the Vic has hordes of friends dole out the bread and wine at communion. If he didn't have them there for this support, he'd/she'd be at it for hours. Same principle, isn't the choich all about sharing?

Nope, I think he saw what you did and thought "Wow that's a good idea. Why didn't I think of that!"
