We'd worked at the same place for 10 years but I didn't take much notice of him, then one day we ended up walking along a corridor together and he put a chewit in his mouth, I said 'give us a chewit' and he offered me the one from his mouth. that was first sort of kiss and we've been together now 16 years. Seems a bit yukky but was very romantic at the time.

Met other half in the Library. People who knew us thought it was strange but romantic until I told them that the library was the name of the bar in the Hilton at Ft Lauderdale by the sea. 35 years later and we are still together.

First met when I hired her for a temporary job in early 90s. She was 19 and the Prettiest girl I'd ever seen. Sadly she had a boyfriend. Pursued her gently til the late 90s when I gave up, met another and married. Never forgot girl 1, secretly stored her contact details, but didn't keep in touch. After divorcing a decade later, googled and found her, emailed, got a reply, communicated for months, finally met up, Love at first sight...again...but this time for both. Been together since

We were introduced by mutual friends.

I was sent from where I was living to Gloucestershire to do a particular job and my liaison was a lovely lady. I was introduced to her in the morning. Went and did what had to be done and returned to her office. We sorted out what had to be done. I then said' er, would you...'YES! she said. That was forty odd years ago. I lost her to her second cancer in 2011.

A friend of mine was going out with the girl who is now my wife.
He took her to a social club and while he was there he met an ex girl friend and decided he wanted to get back with her. He asked me if I could give the girl he had brought to the club a lift home. I agreed and when I got back to her house I asked her out. She accepted and it went on from there. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in 2016, we have 5 children and 12 Grandchildren.
