Am i a 'turn off??!!!!!'
14 Answers
A bit simular to Charlotte247's question i guess, I have 5 tattoos and peircings too, im not a grunge/goth or anything like that. My tattoss are (fairly) subtle and my piercings are tongue, belly button & ears (i used to have my nose and eyebrow pierced but let them grow over!) I also drink pints of lager! Is this something that puts men off?? If i ever have to describe myself to people (not very often tho!) i feel like if i tell them about the tattoos ect they will go off me. What do you guys think???

That's a generalisation though, it's not specific to an individual, so although GENERALLY if I imagine my ideal girl she's not covered in piercings, specifically she might be. I'm a big advocate of people being able to do whatever they like with their bodies, and the most important thing is that YOU feel comfortable with your choice of body art.
Confidence is the most attractive attribute there is
The reason I'm not mad keen on piercings and tattoos is quite honestly I think an unadorned body is a gorgeous thing. To me, it's rather like guilding a lily.
If who you are is drinking pints and havining piercings and tattoos then you stick with that and be happy with who you are, because some bloke will think that's the cat's miaow, and as i said if I met you one to one then your tattos and piercings may not matter, as I'd like to think I'd date the person not just their physical appearance, so no it's not a turn off, just not to some people's personal taste.

Hello, girls point of view here; i have five piercings on my ears and a stretched lobe(only wear plugs though - no tunnels) and no tattoos [yet] and in general it makes no difference to me whether someone is pierced/tattooed or not. As nox said, confidence is what the majority will find most attractive... I'm also a pint-lover, some guys out there prefer girls who drink champagne and wear false nails... others prefer girls who they can sit down in front of the tv with and have a few beers and a laugh with, again just down to he individual. I am sure you are a very attractive woman.x
Well, when you describe yourself why not say for instance,"i have long brown hair, pretty green eyes and long sexy legs, oh, and i have a belly button ring and some cool tatoos".
If you come across as positive and liking yourself it will show and attract people to you. Nothing you've described above sounds unattractive. Make sure your hair and make-up and clothing is subtle and feminine and it wont matter if you have a pint in your hand. I think a guy would like a girl who is girly and feminine and bold enough to have a pint with him. You attract to you what you put out. I know guys who think tatoos are sexy and i think a belly button ring is pretty myself. I dont like the nose and eyebrow rings however, smart move on letting them heal over. Who wants to see a granny(when you are one) with an eyebrow ring? See and describe yourself in a positive light and if you like your tatoos then speak positively about them, people can perceive negativity. If someone doesn't like who or what you are then kick em' to the curb.

I have 7 piercings in my ears, my belly button pierced and a tattoo on my back. The guy I'm marrying has always said he never liked piercings on girls, but that it doesn't bother him that I have them because he loves me for me and finds me attractive with or without. So like the others say, guys will look past a few piercings/ tattoos if they like the "real" you x
