Online Dating Photos

What are some people thinking, male and female, when they stick the most unflattering photo on their profile they could probably find ? I'm not talking about how photogenic they are here, I'm talking about the kind of pic that makes them look like a serial killer, like they just got out of bed, wearing an expression that suggests they are pi$$ed off with the world and everyone in it or just plain miserable. Don't they understand that a passport photo or something taken off a webcam is inherently unflattering ?

I know what you mean. I am registered on a dating site (origionally just for a laff) and some of the photos on there are AWFUL Why bother!!!! I havn't put one on and i dont intend to, but if i did, i would find the most flattering photo of me that i have!!!

hehe, know what you mean.
I received a 'wink' from a girl recently and when I checked her profile out her picture was of her visibly drunk with a bottle of vodka in one hand and a tab in the other.
Not the best impression to start of a conversation with. :)
Must admit the one I have on mine is at my brother's wedding where I'm best man. hopefully not too off-putting. :)

perhaps thats the best photo they have of their hideous form. or maybe they are a human blancmange with bad teeth and hair! theres a lot of them around. ps. dont look in the mirror!

I'm also on one of those sites (well two or 3 actually) and I just used a photo from my phone of myself not looking to bad; the best I could find was taken the night I broke my toes and I was slightly p1ssed up, wearing my mate's baseball cap and a big grin across my face. Folk always look so serious though!

Hmmm, i put a photo on one too, everyone says i look real bad on it. My eyes look dark, etc. I dont wanna put another one on as i want people to want me for whats inside :)
