So called Best Friend

It's a long & complicated story but it's doing my head in & I feel like I might explode if I don't get this off my chest! But basically it was my SCBF birthday the other week but she'd already told me she wasn't planning anything big & would probably just go out with her boyfriend. So I made plans with another friend to go out & when SCBF found out she got the hump so I said lets all do something together then to celebrate or her and I could do something another time? But SCBF didn't like it & said don't bother so I didn't and ended up going out with said other friend & now SCBF is ignoring me for doing so!
I mean for goodness sake she's 24 and is acting so childish.
I feel like I'm the bad one though when I don't actually think I've done anything wrong!

dont waste your time worrying about her, she told u she had made plans - wat are u sposed to do ? sit in i dont think so u did right she should grow up , ignoring you at 24 come on we not at school now , give her space , i would not apologize she mucked you around , u did try by saying lets all celebrate mabye she is on drugs x

She sounds she like's over-dramatic and attention-seeking. I have a friend like this, and I'm beginning to get fed up of it, so maybe I have less patience than you on things like this! I would give her space - if she can't calm down and realise she's being the unreasonable one, then that's her loss. If you go crawling back to her, you're sending her the message that she can kick up and fuss and you will come running and do what she wants! Good luck...
