sorry to pry but i'm very curious. how often does the average married couple have sex? and do old people still have sex, by saying old i mean 40's plus ( i'm truly sorry for all of u over 40, dont mean to offend! :-)

In response to your question, how long is a peice of string? It varies from couple to couple and I assume most men would like to get as often as they can. Don't ever ask this question to a couple's face as you may have one (or 2) less friends. Another question along this line could be "How soon can I resume having sex after I have had a baby?" I think the answer to that was by the midwife "as soon as you like".

Incidentally after some women have passed the menopause their libido actually increases as in the knowledge that they can't get pregnant. I hope you found this information useful.
