I don't think it is just men, I think women do this too. Sometimes it is just that it's easier to say at the time that you will call someone, and you don't want to get into explanations about why you don't want to call etc....

Basically, if a man wants to see you again, he will definitely call. If you have not heard within a couple of days then it's best to just accept it and move on.

BUT if you're really really keen, ring him! I've been told on good authority by my boy-mates that they LOVE a girl chasing them! Plus, what have you go to lose? If he takes the mickey, tell him it was a joke! You never know!

But as for the original question, it really bugs me too, I'd much rather they said 'Umm...no thanks' then at least we girls could move on!
