I met a young girl on my travels around the world. We spent two glorious weeks in new orleans. on my way home I travelled to see her in the north of America. I stayed with her for 3 weeks. I was gutted to leave for home in the uk. since then, 7 weeks have passed and we've been chatting , emailing skyping intensely. I am due to go to NYC for an interview next week. The past couple of weeks however, sine i booked the flight, she has really changed her tune and is being very aloof. she told me she loved me after a few weeks of knowing her. Have i made it too easy for her? Its really an about turn - hardly answers the phone, hardly emails. I'm really confused.

how old are you compared to her?
maybe shes found someone else?
sound like the most plausable,
Or perhaps you've come on too intensely. Did she invite you to go and see her when you were in New Orleans, or did you just drop in? With you now trying to get a job in the US, she probably feels stifled by all this attention. Personally, I'd back off and give her some space. Then if she contacts YOU, you may be able to talk things over.

No I met her in New Orleans. It was accidental. I visited her on the way home. I am 8 years older. I think thats probably the root of this. Initially I was reluctant but the circumstances where were working under it just happened.
Hey kdawg,

Personally I would ask her straight out. Surely it would be better to know where you stand than being in limbo, at least if you give her a chance to say how she feels you will be able to deal with it.

Good luck
