None at all. If you are naturally quiet then that's just fine. People will like you for what you are. There are disadvantages in being very shy, but shyness and quietness don't always go together. Quiet people can be very, very attractive in my opinion, much more so than noisy people.

One of my children is quiet and has a quiet partner. The suit each other admirably and have a wonderful relationship.

i'm quiet around people that i dont know, i do feel very shy and insecure around people i dont know, when i know someone im fine! but i have always found some people take quiet/shyness as ignorance, which is unfair, i remember i started a new job once and i was sooooooooooo nervous, i hardly spoke a word all day, but that was just coz i was nervous and didnt know anyone, and i remember at the end of my first day, the team leader took me aside and said " you seem to have an attitude problem" i was mortified to say the least!!!! i never went back!!

i think people should except and respect people the way they are, just sometimes you come across people who judge to quickly :o(

it depends whether the poster means having a quiet voice or being shy.

if you're not seen to join in a conversation people may think you're not interested, or anti whatever is being discussed, or anti-social. I'm not saying that is the case.. I'm just offering that view.
