There are questions from our gay friends from time to time - I don;t believe there is any other censorship than the usual Site Rules applied to their posts.
There was a question only last week in this section from a lesbian lady. She met with no prejudice whatsoever.
Jack ...

If you were up at almost 2am this morning looking for gay posts, well ...

If you want to start a gay thread, we'll do our best to join in.
Fridays are always a very musical day jack (well, for me anyway).

So,Sing If You're Glad To Be Gay....(Tom Robinson, as I'm sure you are aware).
i was about to start a thread about my friend who i'm convinced is gay.

hi jogger Jayne
thursday night is student night out in my area of the uk ,got back late ,and sober (but happy) so often trawl the net for while,
not necessarily wanting to start a thread but wondered why i could see no relevance to any gay /bi problems, being a student i have and eclectic mix of friends all nationalities / religions sexual types (i wont say preferences as this is very debatable)
wish the world could be like a large uni where all people of all description just get on with each other

Im sure like every community this has gays but I think they are firmly in the closet. When I was at university and I was a steward looking after the freshers (what a great time I had seducing all the lovely girls). A guy came up to me and asked me what the gay scene was like. I told him to go join LBG or whatever its called lesbian gay bisexual club etc. I find the correct way to tell if a man is gay is if he cant read maps. I have a few other theories too but they are far too rude to put on here.

hope this helps
Belt up, gravy............

How's the food-poisoning ?
Condom, do you have to take lessons to write this stuff - or does it come naturally?

Did you forget that a gay man can't whistle - or are you saving that for later in the debate?
Jacksprat and Condom are at/have been at university!!!

Jesus Christ on a bike - are our learning establishments really that bad that they will take any old Tom, Dick or Harry now?

Come on then chaps, what Mickey Mouse course are you on/have you been on?

Medya Studies perhaps, or Sociology, or that great pseudo intellectual course, Psychology?

No, really - gaining a place at university was once a source of pride because one had done well at A Level (when they were hard) and one went to a proper university and not a jumped up Polytechnic. New Labour's obsession with ensuring every student obtains eleventeen A Levels at Grade A and a degree in some pointless subject has massively devalued both the A Level and many degrees.
Jumped up polytechnic?

Wow flip-flop didn't realise you were such an intellectual snob!
flip_flop......the majority of folks in the UK know that you are quite correct.

However....pleas do not under-estimate the intelligence of condom....his is a bright lad.
Actually, gravys stay at Uni was..........errrr truncated.........due to his appalling behaviour.........

He likes to sleep with lady-boys........don't suppose map-reading skills form part of the interview...............:o)
What squad? about jumped up ex poly's ?

Do you either of you know anything about it?

Which University or polytechnic did you attend?

Jake...1) yes
2)..yes
3) University of London

Anything else?

flip flop thanks for the tom dick and harry remark, the middle name would fit you
i asked a simple question whilst browsing AB ,didn't ask for any help about being gay, where does it state this?because i'm not gay,
but i have no issues with anybodies sexualities.
read it again
Jake - I'm a snob, period.

Bristol, 1990 to 1993.
And what did you learn about polytechics at Bristol and London then?
I spent a lovely time at university and I came out with a great degree that has given me the opportunity to work in my current job. I did mechanical engineering which was sometimes tough going but with my super brain power I came through very well.
I was advised against bristol as it was such a low ranking in the university league.
Also in my first year in my halls I knew 2 lesbians who were really amazing. One of them was bi and the other was a full blown lesbian. they had a relationship and as I was in there circle of friends I had a few experiences with them to say the least!!!
I wish I could go back to university. free from all this prejudice in the work environment.

ps my food poisoning seems ok now... dont know what it was. but after my shift at work and not eating all day I got a mcdonalds and my stomache handled it perfectly fine. I have brought in some bread and spagetti hoops for tonight. how yummy can you get?!?!
