sqad - do yo u think thats where the problems start then? when you get married? I suppose it does kind of put pressure on you? Saying those vows perhaps makes you realise you are no longer free to do what you want kinda thing perhaps and we always want what we can't have more don't we?

Oh you wouldn't really think divorce would be higher in couples that had lived together first.
Yeah I guess it is to do with familiarity and not keeping the spice and letting things go etc. too
I like the idea of getting married, someone saying those vows in public to me, the dress, the flowers, the big day oh the romance of it haha but then really it shouldn't really matter if the whole world doesn't know how you feel about each other as long as you both know how you feel. Plus it is very expensive and besides if you have been together years and years you are practically married anyway and probs richer too!
Having said that though, marriage still kind of appeals! Must be the status that it brings then! who knows!
