my partner is legally seperated and was when i met him his ex wife is now divorcing him on the grounds of adultry. Is it still adultry if legally seperated?

i didnt think that the reason for divorce had any real bearing on the outcome so what would it matter?
Just take the path of least resistance.
yes, but it doesn't matter: adultery is no longer grounds for divorce. Marriage breakdown is the only grounds. Adultery may provide evidence of the breakdown, but the separation is much stronger evidence, so I don't know why she's bothering (revenge maybe?). As redcrx says, it makes no difference.
