Late weighing in this week as I've been busy - I stayed the same which is a disappoinment but at least I didn't put any more on.

I like the idea of a case weighing the amount lost and carrying it about - I don't have any stairs to carry it up though. :-))

Well done Anne on reaching your target.
Yes Jimjools thats a good thing Anniemollie came up with but I prefer to try it with a rucksack full of books later as I like to hold on when going upstairs. Years ago when I lost weight I used to when lard was cheap buy 2lbs when I lost 2lbs .At one time I had 5 packs in fridge but gave it away . Every time I looked at it I felt great to think that was what I had been carrying.
going swimming tonight, havent been for a few weeks as i was unwell,so now i'm fitter, back to my activities and healthy eating, for tea tonight having stew and veg.done in the slow cooker, pots. and veggy, also making cheese herby dumplings to put on top of dish, seen it on telly last week, looks delicious.
Morning All,

Good news...I'm down 1 kilo (2 lbs) and it is a long time since I could report anything as good as that. Last week I was laid up with a vicious cold which made me loose my appetite and I still haven't regained it, so my longed for smaller portions are now very much in use and showing results. I hope to hear from many of you today. Onwards and downwards!
Well,I'm down 1.5lbs which has pleased me as I can't say I've been particulaly good just watching that I didn't overdo things. I have been busy though, doing a lot of running around........well not exactly running. So it must be that, best keep that up. :-))

Well done xstitcher on your weight loss - I hope to hear of more losses later.

Onwards and Downwards
Well done XSTITCHER AND JIMJOOLS I think I need to buy new batteries for my scales they are stuck again. Well that's my excuse.
Onwards and Downwards to next week.
Where is everybody???????????????

Are you lost, strayed or stolen. It seems like our posts are getting fewer and fewer and that won't do at all.

Please come back. :-)
I'm still here. :-))
hi there, here i am back again, hoping for a new start,i have rejoined a new w.w.and feel a lot better with that,i havent been weighed for a few weeks but put on 1. lb.i have my sister up on holiday for a week and talked her into going swimming with me on monday night, onwards and downwards.
Glad to hear from you Jools and kate and I know Wendilla is around. How nice for you slinkykate that your sister will be going swimming with you. Having somebody with you must be an incentive to "show off" and do well. Also glad to hear that you have found a nice WW. Alas it is just me, myself and I to keep me going and of course this lovely little elite club we have here....so important. Onwards and downwards girls.......
only three pound needed to get back to where I was before I slipped... lots of walking this week end and very healthy eating apart from some icecreams... might br back in credit in a couple more weeks

I'm back on the bike training for a Northern European tour, I hope this counteracts any damage I've been doing recently!

Well done to all those who have managed to lose.

Hello All, Like you rowanwitch I am doing catch up from my slipping last summer but I have more to loose than you how ever with my loss last week I am hoping to also have gone down this week.
trouble is when I am back on track I will still have around 7st to lose
Hello Rowanwitch well done .You say the only problem is you still have 7 st to lose.Look at this this way you come on here and tell us and you do something about it .Just give yourself small gaols at a time .When I wanted my 2 stone off I gave myself well over the time I stated and didn't try to lose a large amount all at once.I am stuck at the moment but will see what tomorrow says.
Hi Xstitcher you and me too and AB ED keep up the good work .
When I started to loose weight I was all gun ho about it but my nice lady doctor told me that I would never reach my goal in the time I had alloted myself. They were very wise words and Wedilla is doing it the right way.....slow and steady.
Arrhh!
My digital scales have been broken for a while, so this weekend I 'dug out' the old spring/analogue one I used to use. Granted different scales may read differently, but I'm apparently at my heaviest ever. Shocked, I tried the tape measure, and it shows my middle is the largest ever too. I must work out how to do something about it that doesn't result in a miserable time :-(
Hi old -geezer I have experienced through the years that there is not such a thing as a slimming diet. If you eat healthily cut out all the fat and the crap it works .Eat plenty of fish and chicken lots of veg. Don't live on salads all the time. Have a treat now and again or it will get boring and you will tend to give up. Don't try and take it off too fast. Stick with us .Xstitcher started all this just over a years ago and I replied and it took off from there . We just try to help one another with tips and have a moan . We normally weigh in on a wednesday but that is not compulsery. So Onwards and Downwards.
" im new here "! anyone doing WW pro points ?
