Hi Anneasquith Welcome and if you check on here tomorrow that is when most of us put our gains and losses in. Someone may get back to you that knows.
thanks wend at my meeting tomorrow !
Hi Old_Geezer. and a hearty welcome to you. I might add to Wendilla's good advice that low fat food is good. By low fat that means food containing 6% and under. Perhaps also smaller portions (my downfall) and snacks only if in dire need....a handful of raisins, baby carrots. Try and keep it to twice a day. Snacking was my big downfall but I am now quite used to the good way and not a bit miserable. Good luck and our motto is Onwards and downwards.........
Good Morning All,

Just the same as last week, hmmmmmm! I'm off to have a mammogram this afternoon, something I do every other year. Some people have all the fun eh!!

Onwards and downwards....
Hi, anne
It's good you've joined this thread share our moans, losses and gains. I'm with SW and am now at target weight. Anything to save money!
Well that's a change do things right and I lose 2 lbs.I have had lots of chicken and fish and veg this week but also had a chinese last Sat. This is what I mean that you have to have a treat or it will get boring.
Xstitcher you know you will get back on track you are like me you don't give up and you gradually get there. Annie good for you just be careful now to maintain your weight.
Well done Wendilla. It's such a good feeling isn't it! I have a tip for everyone; don't make excuses for yourself if you fall by the wayside admit you made a bad choice and get back on track right away. The excuses are the quickest way to the slippery slope that none of us want to get on.
Another week of staying the same - Will have to get my finger out. I must start to write everything down again. I've had my grandson here at the weekend again - I find it hard to keep track when he's here and also I'm tempted when we buy icecream for him..............then I have to have one. :-( Wouldn't be so bad if that was all. Still new week, new begining - just glad I didn't gain anything. Well done to the losers

Welcome to anneasquith and Old_Geezer - I'm with SW (don't go to the meetings anymore but follow their plan). My neice is doing Pro Points and seems to be doing well on it. She's lost 8lb in 3 weeks.

Onwards and Downwards
Hi. I ought to know what to do, was successful at the WW meetings about a decade and a half ago. But even thought things were stable for a few years, loss of my last parent seemed to take my mind off of things and my weight gradually crept up again. Been putting up with it but these last few months sans scales have had more affect than expected.

No; I can promise not to live on salads :-) Well maybe the Harvester types with no raw veg and lots of high calorie sauce to ladle on top ;-)

Raisins eh? Must go out and buy a sackful. Should last me for today.

The thing is that although I'm sedentary these days, I really don't believe I eat that much. Maybe I need to start noting everything down again. Ho hum...
i have lost 3 stone in total, and i think its the soup that has really helped me,i try to make a differant one each time and just eneugh for about 4 containers as i get fed up with the same one, remember variety is good.
Hi everybody, haven't been here for a while but just thought I'd pop in and let you know that I've reached my 3st loss target. Its taken me 6 months but I've done it :o)

Well done to everyone who has lost weight and keep up the good work xxx
Nice to see you here Tigerblue and WELL DONE YOU. The success stories give the rest of us a boost to hear that it can be done.
Please don't leave us entirely.
I'll be back at some point xstitcher as I'd like to lose another stone. I've got my new uniform for work and its a size 12 (yippee). Its a teeny weeny bit tight but a couple of more pounds shifted should do the trick. Still can't get into my old jeans but hoping to do so by August :o)
tigger... 3 stone fabulous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, down 2 today ( lbs)
Thanks and excellent for you Anne, how much are you aiming to lose? Apologies if you've mentioned it elsewhere in the thread but I haven't read through it all.
Well done Tigerblue - I'm struggling to lose 1.5 stone. I've managed 10lbs since I started but seem to be stuck. A lot of it is my own fault as I'm not sticking to the plan 100% - things keep happening to get in the way, you know birthdays, days out, ice cream. :-)) As I said earlier I must start to write things down again, hopefully that will help.
You should try the Food Focus website Jim. I've been using it since I started on 5th Jan and I log everything I eat. It calculates calories, fat, protein and carb content and you can also find famous food brands on their using the 'search' facility. I swear by it.

*there (not their - doh!)
Thanks Tigerblue - I've had a look at that and will give it a go. Hopefully it will help - I'll let you know how I get on.
Well done Tiggerblue. I bet that baby of yours must be nearly walking now.
