They`ve gone back to calculating carbs, fibre, fat and protein (calories don`t come into it). Their idea is that some foods take more energy to digest so for example, whereas in the old days a chocolate bar was the same points as a steak, now they say you use more energy digesting the steak so it is actually better to eat that than the chocolate bar. "The science has changed" apparently! I think they just needed to dream up another diet to keep things fresh though.
