The holidays are coming, the holidays are coming... Are you going to give yourself a break over Christmas or keep the good work going?
Hmmmm what to do mince pies, roast dinners and drinking on the one hand or everything in moderation on the other!

Just thought I'd drop in to let you all know the op went well and I was very surprised when the hospital let me go home after two days so was home friday afternoon! Have suffered a bit since with the pain which got worse and by this morning was really struggling as the plaster had started to rub the back of my leg. Ended up in A&E this afternoon and had to have a large...

Oh deary me, I shall be on the naughty step over Christmas. We went to a gourmet Christmas lunch. Gourmet means things are fried in butter I think.....anyway need I say more!!
Being the nice person that I am I hope I shall be sitting here on my own as the rest of you celebrate a well deserved Christmas feast. :-)

I accept it has not been a good week, I only hit target one day, yesterday, mainly due to work's dos and other things, but the scales are just being viscous.
Yesterday I was below target intake, but over the last 24 hours I'm allegedly up ⅝ lbs ?!? And I'm seeing a rise for the week of 2⅝ lbs !
And I'm unlikely to be able to weight myself and post it until the new year, so effectively ending the year on a duff note.

I'm down half a pound this week, and have decided to stop as I am. I really wanted to go under nine and a half stone, but it's just not happening! I keep fluctuating between nine stone eight and nine stone ten. As it's p*ssing me off that I can not reach my goal, I've changed my goal posts to the weight I am now. I will stick with the Wednesday Weigh-Ins to keep myself in check. And I wish you all A Very Merry Christmas and Thank You for being the best gang on Answerbank!
Well done Notafish. I too am happy with the weight I have reached . I am the same this week but expect to be up next week as I have a few dinners etc but will definitely lost it again in January. Many thanks to xstitcher as I had just about given up hope of losing the extra weight when i was pointed in this direction and as they say, the rest is history!
I would just like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a Healthy and Lighter New Year!!

Congratulations to Notafish and Spotit3, you've both done tremendously well.
I've lost another 1lb this week and am am just a few pounds off my next milestone.
Still a way to go as I'm a "large" now rather than an "XL" but that's a great feeling thanks to all your support on here. So I'll be back in the New Year if not before, for more of the same and wish you all a joyous Christmas.
