Thanks Brenden, I have one stone surplus to requirements, its yours for the collecting!
Be right over - no need to gift wrap it.
It will need more than gift wrapping, a stone of fat isn't a pretty sight! lol

Morning all,

Just a quick warning to let you know I will be posting a new thread tomorrow morning at around this time, or maybe a bit earlier depending on how awake I feel :-)

By the way if anyone has any thoughts about a topic for discussion please add them here and I will do my best to use them in the OP.

Keep it up

Ed
What about asking for ideas for summer salads and other summer meals that would suit us. We could ask ourselves but coming from you ED it bears more weight if you pardon the pun....
The only salads I have found to suit me is those from places like Harvester (if onw avoids the real salad items). Or potato salad is nice.
OH dear OG The Harvester. Yes they do super salads and rolls which here you help yourself to while waiting on your meal BUT you did not mentioned what you had with your meal lol

Ratters I think you will find you will start losing on the run up to your move as you will be kept busy and it looks like you will be kept pretty busy from where you are moving to. Hope all goes well for you.

Brenden I have one to spare too.

Welcome Connemarra yes not easy when you don't feel well. Stick with us it does help .
When I lost my 2 stone during that time every 2lb or so I lost I used to pick up a few packs of lard thinking wow that is what I have lost .
I think we should all turn up and give Ratters a hand at moving to Wales and see how much weight we can shift while at it.......who's in??
I can look after all his animals for him . I can collect eggs and look after goats and have even helped with the cow calving many years ago so all his animals would be looked after in my hands.
On the rare occasion I frequent one (I've gone off them gradually) I always regret taking a bowl full of "salad" in place of any starter course. The chances are high I'll find I don't need all the main course and can't bring myself to be sensible and stop when full having paid for the meal. I've yet to sample any dessert from there (or most other places come to that).

Hmmm now if Ratter was moving to some sunny Mediterranean location and paying for the fares there and back for us to help, then sure, but North Wales ???? Isn't it permanent rain there ? And the locals refuse to speak English but glare at you as you get to the bar (or so I'm told). I hope Ratter's MIL likes to come home to a real fire.
What did you do with all those packs of lard you picked up ?
Keep forgetting to post on here! Ive lost 16 lb in 10 weeks now so I'm pretty happy with that x
OG I didn't buy them I just used to pick them up in the supermarket and said to whoever I was with look that's what I have lost.
Well done Smowball.Am I right are you starting up a slimming club or did I get that wrong.
Hello wendilla : ) Yes you are right, I start next week! You have to have been a member and have done the plan before they will even offer you the job, as they say, quite rightly, you cannot preach about something you dont understand and havent done.
OG Wendilla took all those packs of lard and threw them as hard as she could at the biscuit shelves....
Ah, throwing her weight about eh ?
Lol you lot, don't speak too soon! We may well need help to get all our belongings up to the house, it is up steep windy gravel track with a couple of tight corners that we are unsure if the lorry will go around, we may end up having to re-load it onto a smaller van to get it up to the house :-(

OG, so wrong about the Welsh, I havent come across one person speaking Welsh yet and over the years I have been up and down to Wales many times, I find them far more friendly and accommodating than the English, although it pains me to admit that. I too have heard all the stories about the Welsh, we have experienced none of it.

Ok so how many will be turning up to carry our furniture up the track to the house, quite a few large antique pieces as well.
