Jan well done you have nothing to worry about after the good weight loss you have achieved .You know yourself you wanted to lose it and you have been our star and once you get over this bad lapse I know you will get back on track. I hope things go well for you soon. Take care and see you here next Wednesday.
Thanks wendilla. Friend just rung and invited me out for a curry so I have said yes as I think I deserve a treat. Will just have to be good for the rest of the week.
I always find I lose weight better when I have a weekend treat. It can be so boring if you don't and that is when you are apt to stray and stay straying if you don't have that treat to boost you for the coming week. Enjoy your curry.
We have just had our treat, a trip to the local Farm Supplies store, outside the store is a very large mobile Pork takeaway, the do only pork as it is run by a large pig farm. They do amazing roast pork dinners for about £5.00 you then sit in a little round wooden shelter and eat it out of a cardboard tray with a wooden knife and fork on a picnic table, We go there about once a month, cheap but divine food! We know how to live it up, I can tell you lol
Think you better be good for the rest of the week lol Ratters
I know, I thought that as I reached milestone I needed a little treat, Carakeel treated herself to a handbag as well.
I'm as sure as I can be that the calories don't count if you eat out of a cardboard tray Ratter! Well done this week.

And thanks Wendilla for your encouragement as always.

Well done to all losers this week. The weather really is a challenge at the moment but keep on with the lighter meals and fill up with plenty of veg and salad. Cottage cheese, sticks of celery and carrot plus a hand full of rocket was my "lunch of the week" this week.
Maydup. Fantastic I have just placed an order for 20.000 cardboard trays!!!
Good Morning All,

I'm down 2 kilos, (approx 4 lbs) so there are whoops of joy emitting from yours truly. Since coming back home last Wed. I have been very, very good eating less and have nothing tempting in the house and I can see it is paying off. Can't wait to hear from the rest of you.
Very well done Xstitcher. That is always my motto if I don't buy it I can't eat it. But I have been reasonabley good so I have just stayed the same. Had a chinese meal Saturday so I think that may have been my downfall plus chocolate shortbread that I could not resist. And I did not even take that home it was 9 very small squares in a pack and by the time I had got to school waited on my grandson took him home there was none left and I knew he don't like anything with caramel filling so that was my excuse. Must not tempt the devil this week.
Brilliant Xstitcher!!
Well I have had a very lucky escape, we had a good friend come to see us and she brought a load of really good (bad) cheesecake from a fantastic local shop specialising in such things.
Between my friend and my good lady, they forced me to eat 3 huge slices of cheesecake!! well naturally I felt sick, how could they!!

Anyway, the next day I was surprised to see that my weight had stayed the same as the previous day, the next day I was even more surprised to see that I had lost half a 1b and today I have lost a bit more, So I think I had a lucky escape. I'm still below 13 stone, I'm chuffed!

Good luck to the rest of you losers!!

Onward and downward :-)
The scales say up 1⅜ lbs. It's clearly utter nonsense, but what can one do ? :-( As usual whilst I may have eaten over target for the week but I don't think enough to warrant staying the same let alone reading higher.
Good heavens Ratter.....3 slices of cheese cake being force fed to you and you live to tell the tale AND don't gain any weight. If I just look longingly at one piece I put on weight.
Don't fret OG and Wendilla....you will succeed as you have shown so often before-
Arrhhh and again someone has brought in cream cakes to celebrate their getting older (?!?!) and I have to try to resist them.
Who won OG the ice cream cakes or you??
So far me. But there are so many I have to stay strong all day.
As I recall the anticipation of a cream cake far exceeds the momentary pleasure of eating one. Slightly sweet but disappears in moments, I'm telling myself it's not worth it and I'd feel 'ashamed with myself' afterwards.
Well done Xstitcher, 4lbs is fantastic!!! You must've been very active Ratter, to work off three pieces of cheesecake. And well done to OG for your will power over cream cakes. They're yucky anyway aren't they?! I'm managing to stay the same weight and still looking on here each week. Ratter's and Xstitcher's banter is making me smile.
Hi Wendilla, I've just re-read your post and see you managed to stay the same after eating chocolate, caramel and Chinese...that's good news too:-)
Thanks Mari....active hmmmmmmm nuf' said about that. Keep strong OG...who wants ice cream cake in this weather anyhow!
It might be delayed digestion reaction MARIJM lol lol so Ratters and I better look out next week in case it catches up with us. Yes not icecream weather OG.
