Sorry we're late - but that's because I am covering for ABAuntie.

Did we survive Halloween?

I am off on a holiday shortly, and I am not "beach-body ready", this is a real picture of me:


Anyway, that ship has sailed for this trip in the sun, and I intend to mostly eat as many deep fried sea creatures as possible.

As always, it's difficult to dodge the "events" happening at any time of the year - especially when it comes to convienience. If you're going to a fireworks dusplay this weekend you might want to think about taking something tasty to keep you warm.

Now, it's not the healthiest thing in the world, but this butternut squash soup with chilli is the best thing for standing by a nice bonfire, or staying warm while you wait for someone to finally light the firework and run back at home:

What's your favourite outdoor-warm-food?

Maybe you could help me find the slimming world version of the above?

Either is still going to be better than something from the hotdog van!

I too feel peckish mid way between meals, and larger meals are no guarantee of avoiding it. Just need to find something that doesn't ruin the goal. That, or have the willpower to ignore the internal nagging & thoughts until out of the danger area.
Totally forgot this week. Hubby in hospital so am going about things like a chicken with its head cut off.
Interesting article OG, maybe I could cultivate the correct bacteria somehow!

oh no I have lost a day . Another stayed the same must weigh tomorrow as few stay the same weeks .
I've weighed myself today too and have stayed the same. I can't remember staying the same for so long.
I'm not sure I can put up with this much longer. According to the scales I put on 1.2 lbs overnight and I have now deteriorated to 2011 levels. Why the hell am I depriving myself when the body simply won't play fair. Just makes me miserable using willpower to resist pizzas and other high cal desires in order to achieve nothing. (Not that what I'm given to eat on the weekends help any.) Admittedly I seem unable to hit the daily goal any more even when in control. I eat when hungry as little as it needs to get by, and this is what I get. I may as well give up.
Here's hoping that the scales have stopped lying by tomorrow.

I think I read somewhere aunty is on holiday so it is the ed that has forgot us .well forgive him this time . I have not lost an ounce again .Thats ok as I don't want any gains .But was hoping for a loss this week .
Maybe December is DIY month :-)
Down 0.7 lbs over the week, apparently. But the road was ridiculous. Be fairly good and get very dispirited at the weight just bumping up every day, mocking. Have a very heavy 3 day weekend (again) and it goes down ! And now a small further small drop take my down overall. Madness.

Oh woe is me. I've put on 4 lbs and not surprised. My common sense has gone on holiday with auntie I think. I shall say no more as I slink over to the naughty step. :-((
:-( Oh dear. Never mind, it should make it easier to drop back nexy Wednesday.

I'm dreading what the scales will show when I get on them a little later. To my horror I keep finding them showing the stone figure I left ages ago when common sense indicates it should be showing three stone lower for ages by now.
:-( Up 1.5 lbs allegedly. Very disappointing to say the least.
Good Morning all .I have not budged one ounce . Xstitcher I should not worry too much after all you have been through you are just getting back to your usual self . Wait until you feel 100% You can still be careful and not overdue things .
OG make sure you make xstitcher a cuppa on that step.
