I think if I was very healthy I would be doing other things(mind you I only learned how to use a computer about 6 years ago)
I loved going for long walks,meeting friends,travelling,going home,even doing jigsaws but my life is so different now and I just make the best of a good thing

I don't work currently but even when I did I still used AB. I insisted my boss got the internet :-)

In all fairness I was the only one in the office and often had to hang about for deliveries so he got the internet for me.

I don't work and am disabled, it helps pass the time when i'm not online gaming, knitting or doing household type stuff.

I sometimes think I would like to meet people from here but I am actually very shy in person with people I don't know.

I've made some very good friends who probably know more about me than my real life friends or family members.

Daffy...it's a bit nerve wracking but it's amazing how quickly you feel comfortable because the basis of the friendship is here, in black and white, they don't feel like strangers.

I'm shy too and I was surprised how at ease I felt.

when I first joined I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread,my son encouraged me and showed me how to use the laptop as part of my therapy,never looked back.

I wouldn't know what to say to any of you in person though ummmm, I always feel that people would judge me and find me lacking.
It's all a result of my upbringing and although I know it is unlikely it would happen it still puts me off.

Six years, Slinky?....Three for me and I come on here during breaks from the garden usually.....I am trying to train myself to sit still for a while and do nothing.....but I fidget....

AB and emails are all I use the internet for as a rule....well that and Smarty Pants.....xx
