Been to bed once, but being a tad uncomfy I got up and did a bit of my crafting.
No real pain from the hip, but finding that sweet spot to sleep sometimes proves elusive.
Just a visit from my sister today, bringing along a couple of small home made meals for me.
Enjoy your day both whatever you get up to :)

What sort of crafting do you do Ferlew?

Knitting, cross stitch, patchwork, crochet, etc?

Recycled wood and metal is what I try to be crafty with.

I wish I was crafty I just about manage to knit
But I can grow excellent veggies

A green thumb has eluded me, most of my life.
A few successes, not many.
When I buy a plant I leave the tag on, so I know what has died ;-(

I knit a lot of socks for the men in the family, and I also do parchment craft. Just lately I have found the 'diamond art' stuff and doing bits of that , it's very mindful.
I am happy as long as I have some work in my hands. :)

You just prompted me to search parchment craft and diamond art.

There is nothing nicer than a pair of hand knitted socks though.
My mother used to knit boot socks for us and they were sooo warm

Morning all, same here to 'can't sleep' but not Bolly driven......will, hopefully, grab a nap later.

Catching up with a friend is the name of the game today and a wee shop for something for supper....maybe get some mince and make a tagliatelle bol, talking of Bolly!

Looking swell, hereabouts, apart from losing my glasses in the pond, yesterday.

Morning Chip, no luck finding them yet? How big/deep is the pond.

On my stag do, we started by going punting on the Isis in Oxford, suitably laden down. The one of us who was the most skilled took us out but on leaving the shore at the Cherwell Boathouse, he runs into an overhanging tree and a branch pulled off his glasses. The impromptu Japanese fishing girl diving show laid on was a superb start to the afternoon - but in 4 feet or so of weedy riverbed, no hope at all.
