When were the sale of £1 bonds stopped as we have 4 we are tryig to find out ,who in the family they belong to. As they have 4 consecutive numbers probably bought in a bloc of 4 so finding out when they stpped would possibly give some indication. Have also requeste a list of the bonds in my name. Thanks for any help.

Sorry, I'm not clear how knowing the date of the change will help identify who the bonds belong to. Were they purchased in different names? As there's only four of them why not just cash them in and share out the £4 or draw lots to see who will get each bond.
Has one of the bonds been drawn as a winner? Is that why it's an issue?
The minimum purchase of £100 has been around for a very long time....

The reason for knowing the stop date for the issue of the £1 bonds will help me have some idea when they were purchased i.e. before 19??. As I was in the services we moved around a lot so be able to approx date them would help. The bonds are actually with my son and he asked me if they were mine, as they are not in his name. Wondered if a relative had given them to him but had done it in their name. Hence the reason for trying to get a cutoff date. As far as I know they are not winners. When I phoned the Savings up and asked I was not quite sure if he said 1980 or in the 80's.
Just contact National Savings Premium Bond Department, quoting the numbers. I did this to find out which were mine and which were my husbands as they had all got mixed up. Not only did they advise me but told me that one £5 bond was actually my mum's and they had put it into her new name for her.
I have some £1 bonds (I was a child of the 60's) and as the previous posted suggests, I contacted National Savings to update the details. I wasn't sure if they were mine or Mums and needed to register in my married name and current address. It was fine and all sorted now. In my opinion its worth doing as they've got to win oneday!! They're not worth anything otherwise.
I agree, just write to NS&I with the numbers and they will tell you.
Slightly the other way round but I knew I had £6 worth from a child long time ago that were lost. I just gave them my name and the addresses I'd lived at over 15 years or so (like you I didn't know when they were bought). They answered me within 2 weeks telling me the numbers and my bond holder ID.
They hadn't won in all those years BTW!
No wins here either - anyday now I tell myself!
My OH had a £1 premium bond from the early 60's. We have never won anything with it, He actually contacted the NS&I to ask if it was still valid and they have sent an updated slip.
I`m thinking of framing my very early ones from the 50`s-a bit of history!
You could certainly buy singles in 1975
