Is it difficult to change the date of Direct Debits going out of your account?

A lot of mine are towards the end of the month and it would be easier for me to get these paid as soon as I receive my pension.

A direct debit is where a company takes the money direct from your account. You need to contact each company and discuss with them if you want to change the date they take the money from you. ie they have to do it.
