Fantastic. I make just over £50 a month from it and have never had a problem.
Excellent.
It is the top paying easy-access savings account. If you've between £3,000 and £20,000, as well as the income form various bill payments. It all is very straightforward.
In money saving expert website's August 2013 poll, Santander's 123 account was the third best rated for service.
Just may sure you meet the criteria to open an account. If you have a friend who has an account get them to formally recommend you and they get a £20 Amazon voucher.
Best Easy access account on the market at the moment.
That report is from last May gingebee. Things have improved and I have found the staff excellent to deal with.

It may well be from last year but Santander has a long history of bad customer service. It may have improved ...it couldn't have got much worse.
Its a good account. Am seriously thinking of moving my current account across to this.

Cannot offer any comment as to customer service, but the benefits of the account are excellent in comparison to others.
They've been excellent as far as I'm concerned.
I pay my phone and broadband through it - so get money back for that.

Pay my Sky - money back for it

Thumbs up from me also, I'd read the stories of bad customer servlce but decided to take a chance, best move I've ever made.
Changed energy suppliers much cheaper bills - but now my 123 cashback is less than the £2 per month cost!
I've been with Santander since they were the Leicester Building Society and I've never found their customer service to be anything other than efficient and helpful.
This sounds interesting. I must have a look at it. How does it work?
Love it - never had a problem.
Tilly, you pay in a minimum of £500 a month and pay a fee of £2 per month.

You have to set up a number of direct debits (2 or 3, check this) but you get cash back on payments to your gas and electric suppliers, your mobile phone bill, your broadband/tv/landline bills I get back about £5 a month on these bills.

You get 3% interest on balances up to £20,000 but you must keep at least £1000 in the account.

I didn't close my original current account, I just set up a standing order for £500 a month to the Santander account and shoved £20k across and 3 direct debits. I get around £55 a month back.
Thank you, hc. I'll have a good look at that. x
Tilly, let me know how it goes and I may well follow you
And me.
I opened mine last week (via Topcashback so got £32 cashback incentive)- just as a utility bill paying account initially but I'm now moving in some savings as the 3% interest rate is better than ISA rates.
