State Pension Rise.

I received my State Pension today but it's the same amount as last month and the month before that.

Any clues, please?

As it is paid in arrears you might not get it until next pension day

I've just checked my relative's pension payment and he hasn't had the increase either.

I had my increase last Monday as I get paid a week in advance she says smugly.

emmie, it's 2.5%. You should have had a letter telling you how much you will receive

The rise is from week beginning 12th April

I told them that was how I wanted it Tilly. I wish I hadn't now as it probably means that after my demise my family will have to repay some of it.

I've had a disappointing week as I also received my Teachers Pension on Monday. That was a phenomenal rise of 0.5 %! I think I had 2p more than last month. :-)

i get a private pension of just under 2quid a week, took it out for just one year before i got made redundant.
