I have just been declared bankrupt and i would like to know which banks will allow me to open an account with them... Anyone know?

Try the Nationwide and the Co-op.

They may accept undischarged bankrupts, but not is there is a history of fraud.

Telephone them in the first instance - good luck!

Have a look at the table further down....you may be ok with a couple
Also try Halifax or Alliance and Leicester. They may not want to give you a cheque book though.
Why where u declared bankcrupt if u dont mind me asking i just cannot understand how people can
Nationwide will. I am a discharged bankrupt and they accepted me. They wont let you have a cheque book though. I have a basic account with direct debit facilities, and a cash card. Hope this helps!
What if you have just started your bankrupcy? who will give you an account then? I am not having any luck at all finding somebody to open an account with
